I think Betsy Ross made the American Flag because she owned a fabric and sewing company.And George Washington asked her to make it the American Flag because the British thought they were surendering in a battle about a week ago.But George Washington thought that a six pointed star would be good enough but Betsy said a six pointed star star standed for British royalty,so she said that we should have a five pointed star but George said it was to hard to make so Betsy made on infront of him so he said he would be back in a week or two.So that’s why I think Betsy Ross made the American Flag.
